Back to Everything

I am back at work.  I meant to blog earlier than now, but there hasn’t been enough time in each day.

For a month, I was of work, off exercise, off eating well, almost completely off blogging… anything else???

I had a great vacation in Orlando with the family.  There was so much that I wanted to blog about and share, but it never happened.  I have lots of photos to prove it, though!  As I mentioned before, I did a lot of eating and no exercise (but some might argue that all the walking through the theme parks and all the stairs at the water parks count for something).

I feel bad about not running for a month – I really need to get back into it and I bought some new running shoes and workout clothes at the outlet malls.  I was going to start up running last night, but between Canada BBQs on the block, and getting ready for my first day back at work (as a second year resident), I didn’t quite get around too it.  I did, however, make a goal to ride my bike to work every day that I’m not on call and don’t have an appointment to drive to after work.

Yes, I did manage to get on my bike this morning and ride it to work.  But then my staff insisted on buying me a brownie.  Win some, lose some, I guess.

This week I’m hoping to catch up on some of my regular blogging – especially my goals update.  As I mentioned before, I am going to do a mid-year re-vamp of my goals, so that should be quite exciting!  Stay Tuned!

I’m sorry for the less-than-stellar introduction back into he blogging world, but I will make it up to you, I promise!
